In memory of...
I know I haven't blogged for awhile and that's because of a combination of laziness, busyness and nothing that's really piqued my interest.
However today, this blog dedicated is dedicated to two people.
First, is one Eunice Lee Cay Shing; a beautiful girl, smart, hardworking, friendly and I'm sure a host of other positive adjectives. She passed away last night from complications related to dengue-like symptoms.
I taught Eunice last semester and she seemed like she had a bright future ahead of her thus her death has come as a big shock. My heart goes out to her parents and close friends who I'm sure are straddling both grief, shock, anger and loss. For me, I'm glad that she has gone on to a better place to be with Jesus.
The next is Puan Seri Endon, wife of our current Prime Minister Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. She passed away at 7.55am this morning at the official residence in Putrajaya. My prayers go out to our PM and his family during this time where fasting and mourning are taking place. Indeed, we should all pray for him as he is the leader of the country and we would like to be able to share in his loss and his pain.
The morning has been gloomy with rain and grey clouds. Many have remarked at home 'fitting' it seems but I'm glad that inside, I have hope and joy that comes from Jesus and that death has no longer got a hold on me.
